Welcome to The Plume Of Feathers

Dating back to 1590, The Plume of Feathers is a beautiful and historic inn located directly opposite the world famous Sherborne Abbey. Though newly renovated at the end of 2016, the bar and restaurant retain many features of the original inn.

We are a family orientated pub and welcome well behaved dogs. We offer Italian small plates during the week and have a delicious, ever so slightly more traditional Sunday lunch menu. To compliment our menu, we have a fanatstic wine list with over 60 bottles of wine by the glass, mostly Italian and very quaffable!

Upon entering our pub, there is an open plan bar leading to four individual sections, a snug area with a breathtaking view of Sherborne Abbey, two main restaurant areas, one of which is the old skittle alley and a private dining area with wooden panneled walls. In the Summer we open our pretty, walled courtyard.

We also benefit from four B&B letting rooms all with en-suite, our prices include breakfast.

'When in Sherborne, you MUST visit this place! Beautiful interior design with lots of seating options inside and outside - suitable for couples, groups, friends and families. Delicious tapas style food, including great gluten free options! The staff are always really friendly and make you feel very welcome. Great for lunch, dinner and drinks - day or night. Brilliant restaurant.'
