"Nice welcome, looked smart, interestingly different menu. Italian small plates. As recommended we chose a dish from each section. 5 plates between the two of us was just fine. Loved the beetroot and Gorgonzola arancini, the risotto and the Frito misto in particular. With a glass of Picpoul very enjoyable. "

Enjoy Our Courtyard

"I came here with friends on Saturday afternoon and sat in the beautiful courtyard surrounded by orange and lemon trees. I could easily have been in Italy, so well maintained. We couldn’t fault the food, it was scrumptious. Always lovely to be met by Albert the manager, who is so genuine and welcoming."

Stay at the Plume Of Feathers

"My husband and I were traveling back from London and booked this on the spur of the moment. On arrival we were absolutely delighted. We stayed in Abbey View, the room was clean and very comfortable. Our bathroom was enormous and again very clean with both shower a bath, plus complimentary products. The restaurant was lovely serving an Italian type of tapas where you order a couple of dishes each to share. The wine list is extensive, with 52 wines that you can have either by the glass or bottle. We both slept extremely well, the mattress and pillows are both of a good quality. As the name of the room suggests, we were across from the abbey so Sunday morning you do hear the bells! The breakfast was very good too, with fresh coffee, a variety of juices, cereals, fruit, yoghurt and really good choice of cooked breakfast. We have no hesitation in recommending this place."
